Mirella's first ballet flat has a triangle shaped waist that hugs the foot and creates a beautiful line, even revealing the arch when standing on flat. Made from a specially developed stretch canvas with a zig-zag weave for increased flexibility and strength, the side and back height are lowered to emphasize the instep. The forefoot outsole pad is shaped to protect the metatarsals, removing ridges when on flat or half pointe. Slim, high density, shock-absorbent forefoot and heel insole pads protect the metatarsals in jumps and on half pointe without adding bulk underfoot. The 100% cotton stretch canvas upper and the 100% cotton performance lining have antibacterial and wick away properties to reduce the build up of bacteria and moisture.
